Cancellation & Account Deletion

We're sorry to see you go. Below you'll find instructions for canceling your subscription and deleting your account. These are separate actions — please review both sections to understand how each works.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
Capacitly subscriptions are managed through the app store where you originally subscribed. To cancel, follow the instructions for your platform:
iPhone (App Store)
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Find and tap Capacitly.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Android (Google Play Store)
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Find and tap Capacitly.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
After canceling, you will continue to have access to Capacitly until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made. Once your billing period ends, your account will be moved to the free tier.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from within the Capacitly app by following these steps:
- Open the Capacitly app on your device.
- Navigate to your Profile menu.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your account, the following actions are taken:
- Your account credentials and profile information are permanently removed.
- All calendar data, tags, and sharing preferences are deleted immediately.
- All active share links are deactivated immediately.
- Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes before being permanently erased.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming.
Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
